What We Do

Reclaiming Intimacy

Creating Solutions & Survivor Strategies

We are Reclaiming Intimacy, a completely unique, one-of-a-kind cancer advocacy organization. We provide caretakers, patients, advocates, and the medical community with educational resources, products & tools to improve sexual health and intimacy through cancer. Reclaiming Intimacy is dedicated to moving past the social taboos by including the topic of sexual dysfunction in patient care.

Create Strategies and Solutions

Caregivers, patients, advocates, and medical professionals all experience cancer from different vantage points. Each group within the cancer community has its own unique challenges when it comes to dysfunction & sexual health. Reclaiming Intimacy helps create solutions and long term strategies to create the best quality of life possible.

Talking About Sex, Sexual Rehabilitation, & Reclaiming Intimacy

We are focused on improving the whole body treatment of people living with cancer and those who help on the journey. Normalizing conversation between medical professionals, cancer centers & patients will happen as we consistently, more frequently have opportunities to educate.

Connecting Patients & Their Partners

We help patients and their partners connect in ways they never thought possible after receiving a diagnosis. In far too many cases, relationships suffer when coming together is vital. Roles change, family dynamics change, bodies change, minds change…and both partners mourn the loss because their dreams of the future change. When moving from “what isn’t” to “what can be” the possibilities are endless.

SHARE YOUR STORY

We want to hear about how cancer has effected life after the diagnosis.  We also want to hear from caregivers, advocates,
family, & medical professionals lending love & support.  By sharing your story, you’ll give encouragement and support
giving strength in numbers as we fight cancer together. View the effects of cancer from various vantage points …
